PORTAL + LAMP

Lamp + Portal is a product set that imagines a floor lamp fall into a portal. Appearing from the portal on the floor is a lamp. And how convenient is the upside down base to use as a side table?

The lamp is an exploration in popular culture in science fiction.
When mysterious forms appear in front of our character, they are afraid to approach it themselves and hence 'pokes' it with a floor lamp. The mysterious form sucks in the lamp, reappearing from another.

The lamp is created in a simple minimal design to keep the focus on the portals. On a quest to create a portal like look, designer Sanjeet Gadkari found a great result in acrylic pouring, working with town artists.

This product is an upcoming series planned to fuse such interesting sci-fi ideas with our daily objects. And exploring new materials and processes to create many such mysterious objects.
